How to Build a Capsule Stationery Collection

The capsule wardrobe concept: fewer pieces, carefully chosen, endlessly useful, works just as well for your desk.

A capsule stationery collection isn't about having everything. It's about having exactly what you need, in pieces that feel genuinely good to use.

The essentials:
A set of flat note cards for quick, sincere messages
A small box of folded cards for more personal correspondence
One pen you actually love writing with
Stamps (always have stamps)
That's it. Four things. Curated, not cluttered.

The goal is that when the moment strikes, a friend's loss, a client's win, a birthday you almost missed, everything you need is already there, beautiful and ready. No scrambling, no cheap gas station card as a backup.

Intentional stationery makes intentional communication easier. And easier means you'll actually do it.
